credit-card.jpgA credit card is a system of payment named after the small plastic card issued to users of the system. A credit card is different from a debit card in that it does not remove money from the user’s account after every transaction. In the case of credit cards, the issuer lends money to the consumer (or the user) to be paid to the merchant.

For merchants, more and more merchants are credit card accepting, since a credit card transaction is often more secure than other forms of payment, such as checks, because the issuing bank commits to pay the merchant the moment the transaction is authorized, regardless of whether the consumer defaults on their credit card payment. In most cases, cards are even more secure than cash, because they discourage theft by the merchant’s employees and reduce the amount of cash on the premises. Thus now there are so many providers of merchant accounts that provide setting up credit card processing services.

According to government statistics, only 2% of all online shoppers prefer to avoid credit and debit card payment methods, which mean that the rest 98% of online shoppers prefer credit card payment. Since credit card payment is considered secure for both customers and merchants, almost all online merchants are also accepting credit cards on website.

  • phone.jpgOf course we have already been quite familiar with several web community, where we can meet people and make friends in the internet. By, recently, we can also meet people by using our cell phones, called mobile social networking.

Mobile social networking is social networking where we can meet people of similar interests or commonalities, conversing and connecting with one another using the mobile phone. Much like web based social networking, mobile social networking occurs in virtual communities. A current trend for Internet social networking websites such as MySpace and Facebook is to turn mobile.

In most mobile communities, mobile phone users can now create their own profiles, make friends, participate in chat rooms, create chat rooms, hold private conversations, share photos and videos, share blogs by using their mobile phone. Some companies provide wireless services which allow their customers to build their own mobile community and brand it.

If we can meet people, make friends, and even chat with friends by using our cell phones, that mean that we can get socialized easier, since we can do it everywhere, without sitting in front of the computer all the time. Isn’t that great?

    Adventure Quest Accounts for free?
If there’s a person who doesn’t play Adventure Quest and is a Guardian, could I have it. Cause I’m not allowed to use my own money to pay and it’s frustrating. Unless, any of you guys would like to give me a guardianship.

  • raleigh-homes.jpg

North Carolina is a state in the southern part of America. It has the unique southern beauty and nature. The capital city of North Carolina is Raleigh that is is known as the “fall line” because it marks the elevation inland at which waterfalls begin to appear in creeks and rivers. As a result, most of Raleigh features gently rolling hills that slope eastward toward the state’s flat coastal plain. Its central Piedmont location situates Raleigh about three hours west of Atlantic Beach, North Carolina, by car and four hours east of the Great Smoky Mountains of the Appalachian range.

If you love beautiful homes like the ones we see on TVs and magazines, this area has an abundance of impressive Raleigh homes. Most of these exclusive homes are located in the northern part of Raleigh, along the Interstate-540 Northern Wake Expressway. One is called Wynbrooke homes with Marta Stewart’s styles. Another is the impressive Fairview Manor (with the term Manor, one cannot expect less) with beautiful views of rolling hills, a golf course that beckons, and picturesque park areas for families to come together, situated near the Wakefield Plantation. Other magnificent ones is the Chestnut Oaks, wooded home sites with easy access to the Research Triangle Park.

If you prefer the larger and more metropolitan city, then Charlotte also has its shares of beautiful Charlotte homes. Anyway, North Carolina real estate has been known for beautiful homes with the touch of south.

  • Shadow’s Adventure?

    adventure
    prince-OF-egypt asked:

Shadow the Adventurer can’t get enough of adventures. So he decides to embark on a great adventure. This is his adventure map.

    ……………….4a - 5a - 6a - HOME
    …..2a - 3a - 4b - 5b - 6b - HOME
    1 - 2b - 3b - 4c - 5c - 6c - HOME
    …..2c - 3c - 4d - 5d - 6d - HOME
    ………………4e - 5e - 6e - HOME

His main intention is to start from point 1, go to point 6c and go home. He may only move one space on the map at a time. He may not go backwards, or up and down. So from point 1, he might go to 2a, then to 3b, then to 4d and so on. When he reaches points 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d or 6e, he can take a long route, or a short route home.

What is the probability of Shadow reaching point 6c and taking the short route home?

  • Displays for Showing Our Products

    display-truss.jpg

Sometimes we need alternatives of displays for showing our products. These shows can be about our photography results, the children’s creativity, our shop’s signages, or marketing our products or services. What we rarely realize is that actually there are a wide range of trade show displays, from the most affordable to the most sophisticated, from the simple retractable banner stands that can so easily installed by ourselves to the more complicated display truss.

When what we want is to show displays of our products, services, or whatever we want to display in the form of images, then the best thing is to use the banner stands. They come in different formats, from the budget pop-ups, retractable/non-retractable banner stands, motorized scrolling banner stands, hanging banners, to the new innovation of Allure (with futuristic forms), multiform banner stands, and sailing banners.

If we want to build booths for displaying as well as marketing and selling the products and services, then what we need is the exhibit truss. Display truss is used for exhibits as a high tech, industrial component. It can be used in retail environments for displays & decor. These many products can actually be customized for unlimited display purposes.

It all depends on what we want to show, what purposes, what sort of occasions and locations, and of course the budget.

  • Family Vacation?

    family vacation
    YoYoMonkey asked:

So my parents gave me and my brother a one night family vacation to this hotel resort as a gift. One of those places with a big waterpark and a bunch of stuff that would be fun for someone under 12. But I’m 17 and my brother’s almost 19. I don’t know what we could possibly do there for fun.

I really want to get out of this. but I don’t want to make my mom feel bad. She was really excited about giving it to us and she seems to be looking forward to it. But I don’t see how this could be fun at all. I think it will be a disaster. We can’t stand eachother.

    Any advice?

Also, this got me thinking. What should families do together at this age. I really think vacations like this should just be for families with younger kids. But do any older youth do things with their parents and siblings still?
Bringing friends is probably out of the question since the whole point was my mom wanted a “family vacation”.
Don’t try to convince me it will be fun. You don’t know my family.
