Great car, but I think kids should buy their own car, like I did!
The i-VTEC Accord coupe is fairly quick, but I wouldn’t choose it if I were you. You can find a used car that’s at least as good or better (albeit with more miles on it) than a new car.
Basically, if you get an Accord coupe, people will probably not really think it’s cool, and the top-of-the-line model is not even all that fast.
It’s a very commonly seen car, but since it’s fairly fuel-efficient, it is fairly practical.
If you want a new or CPO (certified pre-owned) car, I suggest looking at a Chevy Cobalt SS or MazdaSpeed3.
Here’s a test with those two and two others:
The new Toyota Camry also has a fast model, and while it doesn’t look really cool, it’s a sedan, so if you need to carry anyone or anything, you’ve got plenty of room.
Here’s a list of some fast or tunable cars you might want to look into:–&paid=voted
Some others (also used–new ones are pricey) that I unfortunately forgot to put in that list:
1) Mitsubishi Lancer Evo
2) Subaru WRX STi
3) Mustang GT
If you just want something fuel-efficient but not too fast, look into an Acura Integra VTEC or GS-R, Acura RSX or RSX Type S,
Honda Prelude, or something like a Honda Civic Si.
I hope this helps.
Good for you, Stay in school! That is a good car. It will last forever if you take care of it.
It looks like you feel really screwed up by this problem. Hope you may found helpful here .
