Parkdean Holidays have 24 holiday camps all over the place.
To have any chance of sun in May, you’ll need to go to somewhere like Croyde Bay in north Devon (my favourite part of the whole world).

This is nestled between Paignton and Brixham, and has a little cove which looks right across Torbay to Torquay. This is a large caravan park, has a good club on site, and has a small restaurant, and is within easy walking distance of local bars and restaurants and take-aways.
Paignton, Torquay, and Brixham are just a short drive away, and its only a short drive to the ferry to visit Dartmouth. Also, the old steam train runs from Paignton to Dartmouth which is worth a trip too.
Then a little further away is Babbacombe, ans Cockington Village…both worth a visit.
The caravans are clean, with all the usual facilities. Weekend breaks, and Monday to Friday breaks are available too.
We love this site, and try to visit most years. Prices for May are fairly reasonable.

This is a little guest house, overlooking Lake Windermere, but within walking distance of the town with all its shops, bars and restaurants. Its a really nice place, with nice cosy rooms….ideal for getting away from it all!!

The Lake District, it’s amazing… beautiful streams, sceanary, lots of tall mountains, it’s beautiful and breath taking all around.
If your looking for a beach holiday, appart from Cornwall, I’d say Mablethorpe is one of the best beaches in England, and the sea is beautiful in the summer and there’s some really pretty adult only B&B hotels near the sand dunes.
Come down to Dorset. Weytmouth Portland area. Good chance of being warm. Plenty to see and do. Portland harbour is where the sailing Olympics will be in 2012. Hope this helps, and enjoy yourselves.
I would normally use Wishcraft to find a specific holiday - contact them and tell them exactly what you want (I’m always really detailed - mention decor/views/surroundings etc) and tell them your budget, they’ll then check out special offers etc, and complile a list of possibilities tailored to your needs and budget - much easier! They book it for you to.
